Elisabeth Swain is a passionate educator with more than fifteen years of teaching and administration experience in independent schools and nonprofit organizations. She brings her knowledge and expertise to families transitioning from a therapeutic milieu to a specialized or mainstream school. 

Elisabeth takes a holistic perspective through each aspect of the process. Whether a student and family are searching for a boarding school, a local day school, or a summer program, Elisabeth ensures they receive individualized attention and a step-by-step plan that results in a positive and successful school experience. She guides with compassion, in-depth knowledge of the admissions landscape, and a welcome ability to make this complex process seem less daunting. 

Elisabeth has a gift both for seeing the unique potential in each child and finding the environment that will allow him or her to flourish. She holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College as well as master’s degrees in both teaching and educational leadership. She serves as a leadership coach in the private and public sectors.
